{thirsty thursday} — happy thanksbirthday, to me!

it’s thanksgiving.  but more importantly, it’s on my birthday this year.

i have so much to be thankful for.  this has been an unbelievably transforming year for me, and i have much to reflect on and celebrate! i plan to take it easy and do whatever i want… and you can guarantee i’ll be EATING today!

here’s the menu :

i’ll be starting my day with a mimosa and some soft-scrambled cheesy eggs.

then i’ll most likely nap.

then i’ll make lunch consisting of homemade crabcakes and pan-seared sea scallops.  i’ll probably drink this with it :

i am a club soda connoisseur – and this one boasted a unique flavour, as it was infused with himalayan pink salt…

and i could definitely taste the difference!

then i’ll probably have a beer – not this one per se, albeit delicious :

i am NOT a raging bitch. however, this beer is super yummy and unique, as are most of flying dog’s brews. a belgian-style indian pale ale, raging bitch has a creamy and champagne-like consistency followed by a bright and crisp hoppy finish.  and the label is totally cool!

then i’ll most likely play some “JUST DANCE” on the wii – a bday gift from my amazing roommate.

and i’m sure i’ll be on the couch enjoying a football game or two…

then i’ll probably watch the sunset.

and then i’m heating up my pre-cooked thanksgiving meal from whole foods market and having dinner with my sweet brother.  i’m certain i’ll have another beer… or four.

then, i’m meditating under my stars.

oh, and i’ll definitely indulge in one or both of the cakes my co-workers gave me… whole wheat carrot and decadent double chocolate.

and tomorrow, i’m having a 2-hour massage… yeah, that’s what’s up.
