thanks for the comment, elle! i used to feel the same way… try it out with your cat or dog first, then move on to your BFF, then… if you feel up to it, find a model and just play around! 🙂

haha, it happens. would love to visit the UK! thanks for stopping by and for the kind comment. when i was studying photography, i never thought i’d do portraiture… but then it became only natural to blend my love of fotography with my understanding of humans… i think i found a balance. try it with people you know first, and focus on good lighting and composition… then, mix it up with posing and such… it’s not for everyone, but you never know – you may love it 🙂

thank you so much for the kind words, bill. i suck at ‘posing’ as well… which is why i just stopped trying. i find that my best portrait work comes out of just “hanging out” with my clients… and waiting for that moment when they bare their soul… then “click click” – my intuition {and camera} takes over. 😉
