depending on which airport you fly into in new york, where you are flying from, and the time of day – one can get the coolest view of the city from above – a rare opportunity to look at the entire scope of new york city, and almost catch a glimpse at all 5 boroughs…

it is such a different animal when you’re down in it…
brooklyn/queens/upper manhattan/harlem/bronx {waaaay up there}…
brooklyn/queens/upper east side…
brooklyn/lower manhattan {my old stomping ground}…
downtown/wall street, where it all happens…
midtown manhattan {times square, all that fun stuff}…
8 million souls on one tiny little island full of infinite possibilities… it’s a whole other world, i tell ya.
and it might be time for a visit… in fact, i know it is 🙂

girlie!! i’m thinking of moving back east… it’s just where my heart is. i thought colorado was for me, but i’ve outgrown it or something. when i get settled, maybe we can coordinate our first meeting in the big apple! 🙂

I am originally from Queens. Bayside, to be exact. I do miss it and every time I go back to visit my family I get nostalgic and sad when I leave. Like, really sad. I need to go back for a visit as well.
I have heard nothing but amazing things about Colorado. I’m actually going out to Denver and Boulder next month to visit a good friend from HS. (and my hubby’s going for work, I’m tagging along) Where are you exactly?

awesome – i feel the same way. i had no idea i’d miss it so so much!! you’re never the same. colorado is great, it’s absolutely gorgeous here.. i’m not sure it’s for me, though. i’m kind of an east-coaster at heart… laid back but more fast-paced than many here… i’m just outside of denver in golden. you’ll love boulder! be sure to see red rocks and the garden of the gods if you have time! oh, and lookout mountain! it’s like the colorado version of this blogpost i just wrote 😉 when are you coming?!
