oh awesome, maybe we were looking at the moon at the same time
yay! miss you anthony 🙂
absolutely amazing photo! The colors in the picture are so rich and vibrant! Not to mention that place looks like a tranquil and peaceful place based on your photograph! Thanks so much for sharing!
wow, what a nice compliment to receive – thank you SO MUCH! colorado is full of wonderful places to take fotos of/in 🙂 i always feel peaceful when i see that big bright moon coming up over the horizon. the trick is knowing when to look for it 😉 thank you again!
The moon was absolutely incredible the past few days!!! Perfect capture!!!
it has been insane! i love this time of year for sunrises/sunsets and the moon being so low – makes up for the cold temps 😉 miss you!!
Zach and I have been LOVING the moon the past few nights. Seriously amazing.
Hello Audrey! I’m finally stopping by your blog – and I see with these gorgeous Sopris/moon photos that you must live in the Roaring Fork Valley! I moved from Paonia last year, and I miss it so. What a beautiful fun blog! 🙂
how could i have guessed you lived in colorado? i just had a feeling… how funny. i haven’t been over to paonia yet, i’m in carbondale. i walk by sopris every day… it keeps me sane, as do the elk and the raven sanctuary up here. it’s been an adjustment, but i’m hoping to really create a new life up here for myself…
thanks for stopping by and taking time to leave a wonderful comment!
Carbondale! Wow, I had not heard of the elk and raven sanctuaries in the area – enjoy! Have you eaten at Russet’s or Phat Thai yet? I’m sure you must have been to the Village Smithy! I wish you well adjusting to life in the Roaring Fork – I’m over in Ft. Collins now. Thank you for following my blog, too, Audrey!
good ol’ foco. i haven’t been to either of those places yet, but they come highly recommended. smithy is my fav, hands down!!! i would love to hang some of my art on the walls! i use the word “sanctuary” loosely… i just find that they are everywhere i go up here… ravens and elk… i’m not sure why they are elk not deer, but that’s what everyone calls them haha! thank you for connecting – i always enjoy your blogposts and you are my kind of lady! 🙂
Aw thanks Audrey! Have fun over there on the western slope! I get over to Paonia a few times a year, if you’d ever like to meet for tea on my way through town let me know 🙂
i would very much enjoy that! please do let me know when that time comes! take care, margaret. does anyone call you maggie or do you like it? i feel like i want to, if you are okay with it. 😉
Wonderful! I will let you know – next trip will be sometime in April or May…. It’s funny you ask about calling me Maggie… I used to go by that nickname, I really don’t much anymore, but maybe you’re tapping into my old self somehow…!
