ONE THOUSAND of you, specifically! Â wow – THANK YOU!
that seems like a really big number to me. Â it makes me feel very humble. and it makes me so grateful that THAT MANY PEOPLE find what i have to say valuable, interesting, or at least somewhat entertaining enough to make a simple gesture like click the “follow” button…
in the two years that food & foto has had life, i have found myself growing and changing right along with the blog. Â from refining what it is all about, to being honest and open about things, to many twists and turns – we’re almost parallel, my blog and me.
i just was blown away today when i had my 1000th follower sign up to join the fun! Â and it inspired me to want to do something special to honour it.
and what better to do just that – than a GIVEAWAY!!!???!!!?!!!??!?!
the big question is – what?! Â what do i give away? Â it can be anything i want, i suppose. Â i could find a vendor that wanted to donate something… meh. i can do that anytime. Â i could give away some healthy-eating coaching… meh. i kind of do that already. Â i could donate a portrait session… meh. been there, done that. i could give away a camera?!?! Â dude, that would be amazing… but i don’t have one to give away…

mostly, i just wanted to do SOMETHING to show my appreciation to each of you for following my blog. as i’ve mentioned, this is my personal little playground and i love engaging and hearing from each of you. Â i may not always respond, but i want to take this time to tell you how much i appreciate the support! Â as an introvert, knowing what i have to say in print matters… matters.

right around july this year, my blog really took a turning point. i have fine-tuned what it is i want this blog to represent. Â i have collected some dedicated readers, and i’ve also created a dedicated set of specific blogs i post each corresponding day of the week. Â it feels nice to have some structure.
if i had time, i’d post 7-days a week. Â and hopefully very soon i will be able to do that. Â my “day job” is going great, and my foto job is starting to take a turn as well, for the better. Â i am digging all the positive change happening in my life lately. Â i’m so beyond grateful…
and since march when i began this blog – i’ve created a cool 127 posts, stacked up over 250 followers, and graciously received over 1,000 likes.
so… THANKS! 🙂
