{it’s my mama’s birthday!}

it’s my mama’s birthday today… you may remember how i celebrated a couple years ago…

well, this year i am going to take myself out to do something special… and in honour of my mother {since i look just like her} and her birthday, i thought i would post these silly pics of myself…

my roommate busted out this tiara the other day and basically dared me to take pictures in it. i giggled and thought, “but that’s not a bad idea, actually…” she has been such a support lately – times have been kind of heart-wrenching as of late, but i somehow still persevere… which always makes me think of the female lineage in my family. not just my wonderful mother, but her mother. and how my grandma always taught/told me to persevere… and how she always asked me for simple gifts on her birthday… like a foto of myself. the funny thing about that is, she had no idea how much i loathed having my foto taken… so i would always send her selfies. 😉

so since my mama’s birthday is today, and my grandma’s birthday is just around the corner… i thought i would honour them both, by posting these pics of myself… in yes, a tiara.

and here’s a shout out to all women out there! sometimes i DO feel like i could wear a crown and conquer just about anything… and some days…

i just feel plain ol’ silly!

I love this too! Happy Birthday to your mom and your grandmother, I know that they are with you , somehow, someway and they are both so proud of you. I wish I could have met them. Thank you for sharing this with us
