{thirsty thursday} — another vitamix smoothie!

31 Jan

vitamix – i highly recommend investing in one.  they are incredible machines!  i juice every day now!

i whipped together a different blend of juice this time from random stuff i had inside the fridge…

vitamix1-30-1

– spinach

– dates

– cherries

– blackberries

– blueberries

– strawberries

– 1/2 banana

– almond milk

– carrot juice

– tangerine juice

i also threw in raw protein powder and flax seeds… flip my amazing vitamix on high and watch it pulverize everything into a {usually} pretty and colourful ever-so-slightly-frothy drink that i pretty much devour on the spot every time.  i typically have extra though – because as we know, i don’t measure… 🙂

vitamix1-30-2

perhaps not the prettiest colour one has ever seen but it was darn tasty, let me tell you… and of course, totally nutritious!

and – i love my tervis tumbler.  do you have one?  this was a gift.  i had no idea what an actually amazing gift it truly was at first but goodness do i LOVE this thing!  i use it all the time and i want more!  thanks, P.L.!

what {favs of your own} do you suggest for my next vitamix creation?!

This looks so delicious and healthy! I’m hoping to invest in a blender soon so that I can make smoothies for my kids! It’s a great way to get them to eat spinach!

absolutely! my advice is to save up for a really good quality one. doesn’t have to be a vitamix {though i’m way partial to it} but there are a lot of lousy machines out there that unfortunately waste more food than they juice. definitely a wise investment nonetheless! 🙂 thanks for commenting.
