how special do i feel?!

my sweet new blogger friend, becca over at becca’s kitchen nominated me for this fun award.

i love the fact that someone{s} created an award for STORYTELLING in food blogs!  so cool.  it’s right up my alley.  i tell stories and there are pictures of food. hello, is there anything better?!  well – maybe eating the food 🙂

i know there are so many bloggers, blogs, blog awards, blog-offs and what-blog-yous out there and since this is so new to me, i feel so honored to have even found a short following of kind people who take time to appreciate each other and our different blogs.  thank you becca!! i also look forward to meeting new bloggers as time continues…

i have to fulfill my part and complete 5 steps – i have only one hang up — i only know two other bloggers to nominate, and i’m supposed to nominate at least 5 – i’m still so new to this and i don’t have many blogs i follow yet — and so for now, two will have to do.

my second nominee and other blogger friend’s page is real fun food. sara is a witty gal living in london and she shares fun stories through exploring the territory and of course, the food.

i’m also supposed to tell you all something random about me.

— the only “cookbook” i own is a personally-designed album my aunt created for my 30th birthday filled with recipes handed down from family members.  BEST. GIFT. EVER.
