   My mom used to make white cake, then put maraschino cherries and walnuts in it. This reminded me of it, because that is the color the cake would turn because of the cherry juice. ❤

   Beautiful. Wish I had cherry blossoms near by! Though they look a little like Crabapple trees.
   I almost want to get David’s recipe for that cake – sounds yummy!!
