artsy-fartsy cute little fibonacci cabbage

i always buy the “unusual” looking produce, just ask anyone i used to work with.  usually it’s so i can fotograph it 😉

i found this tiny little cabbage one day and nabbed it up.  it was about the size of a softball, maybe smaller… so cute.

yep, pretty tiny and cute.

gotta love the colour.  you know it’s good for you when it’s that rich!

i like to add my cabbage to salads for extra nutrition and crunch… or steam it as a side with fresh butter, or use the leaves as a “wrap” for quinoa dishes.  i’ve also been known to throw it in my vitamix for extra smoothie colour. the flavour actually blends well, you can hardly taste it. sure looks pretty, though!

and i love anything that is symmetrical or grows in fibonacci sequence…

when i was a kid, i used to draw spirals… over and over again…

curiouser and curiouser…

LOVE the color, but for some reason I think my favorite shot of it is the black and white. Such cool features.

it’s my signature colour 😉 but i’m glad you say that… the B&W is actually my fav, as well.
