the temps were absolutely perfect last week – 70-80 degrees during the day and cool nights that require only a light sweater, but flip flops are comfortable. the smell of the grill lingers in the air, the frangrance from the various blooms waft from every angle, the sun is warm, the air is warm, the days are long… and that means i take lots of little walks.

i’m absolutely AMAZED and stunned at how beautiful these iris’ are… and it fascinates me that they grow the way they do – it almost looks like they are dying when they are blooming… made me think of myself…
“thanks for being my muse” … says my lovely co-worker who made these when she asked me for advice on a sweet snack to play with over the weekend.
