i bought a handful of these little purple ones the other day…
i just love anything with deep colour… and since it’s artichoke season and i usually wait to eat artichokes until this time of year… i gobble them up in any way i can get ’em…
these looked like little roses!
i grabbed my cool silicon steamer…
then tossed the purple food roses in with some water and steamed them for a good half hour…
once fully cooked, i let the artichokes cool for a bit and they just fell apart… melted, really…
and that inside heart was… to.die.for.
it looks like a flower!!!!!! i just love artichokes!!!!!!!!!!
