Or at the very least, just unplug it! (TV’s are still good for DVD and VHS chosen programming :D) For your audience Audrey, If you are pondering “unplugging” check out the book “Four Aruguments for the Elimination of Television” by Jerry Mander. Very thought provoking! Great topic to put out there woman!! I unplugged from television programming @ 2005. My time is full so much more meaningfully and consciously now. And I don’t miss it at all either! Much love to you!! Maureen

hmm, well I do not entirely agree 100% here. But as I get older, my TV Viewing habits have changed. If I do watch television its for something very specific. I watch less sports than I ever have. I only watch a few very specific television series. Plus anything with Piper Perabo. I would admit to spending time on Coney Island beach rather than at home watching television. but the Tv in my home is alive and well. Finally, its beautiful that we all do not agree 100% percent of the time

I’ve been TV free since 2006. Movies from the library, and on Netflix, as well as streaming a few choice sitcoms keeps my need for visual entertainment satisfied. Great to know we get to choose.
