{tiny-home tuesday : the interior}

17 Sep

last week i introduced you to the cutest tiny-home ever.

this delightful minimalist house isn’t quite complete – a few final touches are still in the works from the amazing builder… but as promised, here are some fotos of the interior. Β and i will share more soon, and even more down the road… when it’s fully complete and decorated inside!

the front door opens into a small foyer with shelving to the left and a place to hang coats, etc.

ladder to sleeping loft is removable…

main living space – to the right is a window and a kitchen table…

minihome-30

a view from outside of the window, looking past the kitchen table into the living space/kitchen…

the water heater will eventually be covered and disguised as an end table, which i thought was a brilliant idea…

minimalist kitchen… i just love it.

i’ll blog about some of the “details” another time… the kitchen has many cool, practical, minimalist features!

    […] so i was thinking this morning about how grateful i am for SO MUCH in my life… even what seems like the littlest things – like clean water and all my fingers, a strong intuition and healthy food, good hearing and electricity. some days it can appear as though the world is a grim place… but i try to stay positive and avoid the media, because it seems like all the news is negative. i do my best to find happiness in the little things, because every day is a gift in itself. Β well, i’m not one to be very patient when it comes to my environment. Β and i’m also one to recognize an opportunity when it presents itself – which is why i have decided to move to the western slope… into the minimalist home i wrote about last week…and […]
