this is one colourful dish! and fun to eat, too!
simple ingredients :
– 1 pound organic grass-fed beef {i choose 85%}
– 1/2 pound fingerling potatoes {any potato will do, i just had leftovers}
– 1 medium shallot
– handful sugar snap peas, shelled
– organic shredded cheese of choice {i went with cheddar}
directions :
saute chopped shallots on medium to high heat with a few tablespoons EVOO. allow to caramelize slightly, then deglaze with water or white wine. add in ground beef and cook thoroughly, sprinkling in a healthy dose of S&P as you go. toss in cooked potatoes and mix together. finally, add in sugar snap peas and cook for another minute or two… smear into lettuce leaves and add enjoy!
so fun to eat! and easy clean up!
sprinkle on some shredded cheese for more flavour!
this all looks so super squishy delicious too!

you don’t HAVE to use lighting – there are lots of ways to get good light… hang a white sheet in front of a bright window and place your food there. just one suggestion 😉
but i’m so glad that you enjoy my fotos – i tend to be a perfectionist sometimes to a fault.
