…shall i continue?!
i first discovered this beautiful goodness from mudd’s harvest at the arvada farmers market…
i bought two small bulbs after spotting it and trying it… i fell in love with the colour! {and the outstanding flavour!}
then i walked around a little more… thought about it a little more…
i wasn’t sure if i wanted to buy a whole braid for $15, even though the price was totally worth it… i just couldn’t decide…
hand-braided, mind you…
and as you may know, garlic is anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. it also boosts immunity as well as gives your heart a little extra protection. this garlic is a little different than average, as it is grown in rich volcanic soil…
giving it a beautiful, almost magenta hue… 😉
i obviously went back and bought a whole braid! the cool guy selling me some of the garlic convinced me to get it while i could because they sell out fast! plus it’s beautiful and i knew it would make a great post for the blog! and my goodness, is it yummy!
so, i just hung it on my wall to admire… and i cut a little off at a time… i’ve been making all kinds of yummy stuff with it! like this yummy pasta… and i just roasted a couple bulbs today, OMG! the taste is just incredible! and the braid will most likely last me through the remainder of the year…

I LOVE garlic, and beautiful braids of the stuff are almost too gorgeous to eat. i’m glad you bought it in the end!

thank you so much for your comment and taking time to read! i admit it was hard to cut that first bulb off of the beautiful braid, but it still looks lovely hanging on the wall and my goodness the taste is out of this world!! 🙂
